Living in Colour: "A Neon Data Nexus" is an
interdisciplinary project that explores the intersection of art, technology, and human physiology
through a series of collaborative experiments and interactive experiences that invite viewers to engage
with their own physical sensations. We harnessed various tools and technologies, including p5.js,
TouchDesigner, and Arduino, to create a range of outputs that blur the lines between sound and visuals.
The project encompasses multiple experiments, each designed to interpret our bodily rhythms in unique
and engaging ways. From visualizing data in dynamic forms to crafting audio-reactive installations,
every component is a reflection of our collective journey and creative collaboration. We believe that by
sharing these experiences, we can inspire audiences to reflect on their own physiological responses and
the beauty inherent in everyday life.
In essence, this project is not just an artistic endeavor; it is a celebration of the
interconnectedness of life, technology, and art. We hope to encourage viewers to explore their own
rhythms and discover the rich tapestry of experiences that emerge when we engage with our bodies and the
world around us.
